I am pleased to invite organizations actively participating in issues related to biodiversity and climate change, to provide the Secretariat with the name, coordinates and curriculum vitae of a nominated expert via an official letter. The AHTEG will hold its meeting from 13 to 16 September 2005 in Helsinki, with the financial support from the Government of Finland. A draft background document that will provide inputs for the Group to carry out its work in Helsinki is open for comments (to be provided in English only). The purpose of the review is to seek comments and observations on the scope and quality of the draft information presented, to identify gaps, and to obtain possible additional elements which should be included.
