Further to Decision VIII/17, which notes “that contributions from business and industry towards the implementation of the Convention and its 2010 target could be facilitated by further work under the Convention to develop: (…) Guidance for Parties on how to engage the private sector, in accordance with national needs and circumstances”, the Secretariat is developing a training module for National Focal Points.

The Secretariat is currently inviting comments on an initial draft.
