This database provides a repository of documents on the
business case
for biodiversity (ie documents that explain the strategic, business rationale for a company to include biodiversity into its decision-making) and
good practice guidance
(practical guidance to help companies align their practices with the objectives of the Convention). It has been developed pursuant to Decision VIII/17, paragraph 3 which "requests the Executive Secretary to compile information on the business case for biodiversity and good biodiversity practice, and to make this information available through the clearing‑house mechanism".
Suggestions of additional resources for listing on this page may be submitted to the Secretariat.
